Kennedy Opens Playoffs with Home Win

BRONX, NEW YORK, February 28- Kennedy Campus opened the first round of the boys Basketball AA playoffs as the #10 seed hosting Martin Van Buren High School. Van Buren opened quickly with two fast scores, but Kennedy responded just as quickly with 10 unanswered points putting Van Buren in an early 10-4 hole. Kennedy piled on the points thanks to 6 three pointers in the first half. Giving Kennedy 47-34 halftime lead. A 20-point fourth quarter by Van Buren was not enough as Kennedy advances to face Cardozo Thursday in the second round. The finals will be played March 16th at Madison Square Garden.
